I'm sure that your K5 works well

No, it doesn't work well, Giulio! It suffers when I change the lens, the AF struggles, gives out a noise but cannot adjust it. Sometimes it fails and gets stuck. I asked it to Pentax, lets see what they will say.

I'm glad my K-x hasn't suffered any problems... The more forum threads I read (here and pentaxforums) the more issues with the K5 I stumble accross...
I keep thinking about an upgrade and I've spent a fortune on lenses (which I love on the K-x) I hope when the time comes I don't have to change systems...

Maybe keep the K-x and (back)upgrade to a K20D... Or wait for the next Pentax release...

I like this portrait, it has a warmth about it, as does the companion shot. They look a really nice couple and that's what the photos convey.

Thank you folks! It took some time, but I solved the problem. Here's how: by trial I found that it occurs only with 50-200mm DA lenses (I've got two). The problem is that when you put the lens on, you twist it until it stops, then you have the problem. The trick is to give it a little backward turn to make it click, then everything is OK! I have no such problem with my K20D though. I think I should mention that in the forum.

Nice portrait. I like the colours and the lights. The bookshelf gave a great background to it.

That's really nice Nezih, and the bookshelves actually enhance the shot.
Paul.
