Meet the Giants

There is a new ocean museum and aquarium in Stralsund which was the European Museum of the year 2010… The whole thing is amazing but most breathtaking is the hall of the giant – a big hall, where you see 6 models of whales in original size. Believe me, when you lay under a 34m long blue whale which is hanging 20 above your head, you get a bit nervous that it will come down on you
The animal model is soooo big, that even 8mm makes it nearly impossible to get everything on one pic (the picture is not mounted – the whales are hanging together like this and 3 more are also available but out of sight from this view angle)

hehe - I know what you mean but this was, how they illuminated the hall. actually I already darkened many other light installations and balconies, stairs etc. but I did not want to make it too black
