Yes, natural light.

I'm not keen on any reflection at all from flash, so I am quite averse to using it, although I have seen some good results with it. I'd rather wait for the right conditions.....and a bit of luck.

One day I'll get to use flash properly.....

So that's what it is! I echo the comments above, a lovely macro shot, brilliantly focussed and no hint of shake.

Yep, same fella as before, identified, as usual, by Charlotte.

Focussed manually. No shake as I used a tripod. I find mostly that I'm disappointed with too many handheld shots. I prefer overcast skies or shade, and so a tripod tends to be necessary for a good shot. Of course, it becomes so much better!
