Mike, this is a stunner. Look at that background and the focus is spot on, look at the reflection on that eye, fantastic

Did you use the TC on this one?
Is this lens MF? f2.8

No TC on this one, this lens is manual focus, taken at f4 300mm.
f2.8 is still very sharp on it but it wouldn't have given me much of the bird in focus.

And you didnt need to bump up the ISO.
Its a fantastic shot Mike, really nice, and handheld .
