Very nicely sharp.
If you don't have a dedicated macro lens get some inexpensive extension tubes and a reversing ring so you can mount a 50mm lens backwards. If you have a tripod, consider a set of bellows (the Russian ones on Ebay are really cheap but most effective) Then you can play with enlarging lenses too.

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
