Lunar Eclipse 21 December, 2010

Today's lunar eclipse is the first in 400 years to have happened on the winter solstice (the shortest day of the year). The next one is due in 2094 (or some other silly time, not in my lifetime). Couldn't help with the wires because the moon was very low in the horizon. The branches, on the other hand, seem to frame the moon well.

Nice! I did try and get up for it but with feeding baby at 2am the night before I found it a little difficult to get up for 5!
