Lonely Bench

An intriguing and dramatic landscape in a similar style to some recent images by Graysummers. A million miles from highly coloured summer's day landscapes and so compelling to view. And just in case anyone suggests it should have a person sitting on the bench my view is that no it doesn't.

I agree in this case, with no one sitting there you can put yourself on the bench and think your thoughts

Yes very close to one of Gray's, which is a compliment because his scanned prints have a unique quality.

Red faced. Love this too. It's what isn't included in the human sense that allows one to seek one's own placement within the frame. I'm sitting on that bench with a flask of sweet, dark black coffee and eating some cheese and branston sandwiches, smelling sweet grass and feeling the breeze. Perfect .

Good work

Cheers!
