And you think you need to get a 'better' camera? Yeah, right!
It's my camera that needs a better photographer
Best Regards, Larry.

Must be Welsh highlands. How many lights here? Different heights, different lights:darkish, semidark and the sunlit hill at the foreground, pluss the cloudy sky with an opening in the middle. The scattered slates by the old building all adding to the exceptional compo. Besides, the variety of colour. Too wordy Andrew, I know, but couldn't help stating!
Congrats and
Regards,
Nezih

Its the light that does it for me Andrew. There's a wonderful patchwork of tones. You must have scrambled up to quite a height for this shot.

Thanks everyone. Yes, you're all right: can't do much wirhou decent light. Larry's right too: I need to stop lusting after new cameras and get on with using mine!

David, this looks like the result of a steep ascent but it's an illusion. Having once climbed up one of the quarry's incline planes I found out that there was a level path from a mountain village. My 82 year old mother-in-law was standing next to me when I took this! Dizzy views down, mind!
Best wishes,

Andrew
