Lisbon superhero

by Stu-D

Sharing a picture from a recent trip to Lisbon. I didn't have much time for photos, mainly one evening at dusk and dark and this is one of them. I really liked the lighting, the graffiti and the lone figure. Surprised I got away with it technically, it was handheld (no time for the tripod) at iso 800 with a k20d!

A very dramatic view with lots of potential interpretations.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Its a terrific documentary shot with the silhouetted figure adding icing to the cake and lifting it into the 'street photography' category. 800 ISO isn't really high for a modern camera, I often exceeded that with my K10. Was the K20 particularly noisy?

All the buildings "conspire" to single out the lone figure in a dramatic fashion. The graffiti puts a noir-ish twist on it, and the inspired exposure balances everything out. Like a lot.
