Lindisfarne

Lindisfarne was originally a Tudor fort but was converted into a private house in 1903 by Edwin Lutyens. To reach this castle you have to cross a causeway to Holy Island at low tide. I took this shot from below the approach track and think it emphasises the Castle's dramatic location.
