It does capture a lot of detail that shows what a lightning bolt can do. It got a tree not 200M away from my house. There was a cataclysmic BANG and a flash and bits of tree flew everywhere. Your image certainly does it justice.

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
