Did the scene really appear like this?
Whether it did or not, this is a lovely picture, though the green in the right hand arch, somehow dont look , well,,,quite right?

Thanks for your nice comments.

Yes larry - it really did appear (almost) like that - this is very close to where I live - and I have photographed this bridge many times. On this particular day - the light was hitting the far side in a way I have never seen it either before or since. If I did not know better - I would have thought somebody was shining a spotlight on the far bank! The only processing done to the shot was cropping - and a little cloning out of a few distracting twigs in the water and I boosted the fill light a shade - nothing too fancy as I do not have photoshop and do not enjoy post processing
No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more
