Just my local low lying river/dyke. I'd seem them flying there on and off and spent a lot of time figuring out where they fished and one day got lucky. Put out my own perch and got lucky. Nothing for a year or so but now returned - a new perch which may be natural or someone else put in. It's a question of location, patience and putting in the time but it's easier than you might imagine.
