Kingfisher
by dcweather
Taken with my K-r and SIgma 150-500mm last year. Once in a lifetime experience by a small river where I lived as a child and saw my first ever Kingfisher. Taken just over a year ago but I don't think I posted it.

Hi David - needed to convince myself I can take a decent picture after my recent tribulations. Making some progress with that now ,I think.

After a fairly long time of trying I had a splendid time watching it diving and catching fish.
Taken with my K-r and Sigma 150-500mm
But still just as great!

Thanks everyone, most generous.I probably lacked confidence as there were so many brilliant shots in the gallery. My memory was jogged when I won a bottle of wine with it at my local Photographic club this week!
