Good fine detail. I do think another two stops of aperture would have made this a lot better. It would have almost added a 3D appearance.

Always worth bracketing with aperture with shots like this.

You have a very fine class of weed in your garden!
I agree with the comment about aperture. While the EXIF details suggest you are aiming to eliminate camera shake, f7.1 or even 8 would not slow the shutter down too much and would bring that rearmost stamen into crisp focus.

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
