Grodgy's gone red again! The flag is upside down!

Had not noticed. In the old days, to indicated distress or dire straits or a call for help, etc., the chap in the woollen jacket, cork helmet, gaiters and hob-nailed boots and ammunition-less Lee Enfield, used to stick the stamp on upside-down. I suppose some Britishers were holed up in this house. Perhaps something to do with being in EU territory…?

The upside down Union flag is still an unofficial distress signal I believe!
