I can see why you took this shot, did you try any other angles along the street closer to the shot? have you tried croping out less road and maybe lifting the reds? this might also be an interesting shot in the evening. Hope that helps

I also can see why you took this shot. It's always a challenge to select the essence of what you see. Your eyes would have a much larger view of this. Selecting the part that conveys what you are seeing is the thing. You have mostly caught the essence of the view but for other viewers you have left them to understand your decision. For me, the railings on the left distract. I would want to capture all or nothing of these. The chairs on the right also infringe, again, all or none and the road could be removed. The line of the pavement falls away to the left and conflicts with the straightness of the shop front. But this is for me, what I would do if it was for me. It is for you to decide how you want to capture this scene. Hope this personal viewpoint lets you look at your photo through someone elses eyes. regards.
