I'm Not scared!

A young looking thrush encountered on a walk out yesterday.

Didn't automatically fly off as we approached and took this full on defiant pose.

Nice one. I can't remember when I last saw one of these!
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

They have made a great comeback in the back gardens where I live after being endangered for years. I think weed killers of the time were responsible.

Thanks David.

I must admit until the last year or so I hardly saw any at all...then last year got the occasional sighting of one or two in back garden. This year there does seem to be a pair nesting somewhere close as i'm seeing them more frequently in garden now...make a nice change from regular Blackbird sightings!

Have seen a few whilst out walking locally down by woods/river as well.

Sounds plausible doesn't it...those and slug pellets and other toxic garden 'treatments'.
Lovely birds...i'm glad to see them making a comeback.
