The skill and patience needed to produce this work is remarkable!
Here's my reading of the text (any errors are mine).
Patricia Foldig: Born
at Leeds, Great Britain on
November 29, 1939. Sagittarius,
the ninth zone of the Zodiac. Her
character, as read by her husband
Robert, follows... the true archer is
endowed by nature with superior visual
skill, a strong goal or target orientation,
and a rock-like steadiness. The first of these
attributes partly explains her solid reputation
as an artistic interior designer. The second partly
explains her proven ability to achieve whatever she
sets out to achieve. And the third partly explains her
truly exceptional trustworthiness.
But there is much more to her than her karmically-inherited talents. There
is also her willpower, which is formidable,
and which allows her to do what does not come easily or automatically. Thus her
daily battle to be pragmatic, that is, alert and humble before the results of all her
past shots. Pat does learn from the past, but she does so by sheer grit; it is not easy
for a true archer, she is a creature of repetitive habit. So by willpower she has grown
her perceptual gifts. Thus too her daily struggle to adjust her aim when faced with new
and unpredictable winds on the firing line. Pat is flexible, to be sure, but only by growing
away from too much direct-to-target bravado. She has developed a creative approach to the
unexpected. Thus, too, her daily fight to remain calm.
control. Pat has willed
herself to yield to fate, despite the archer's natural trust in her
vaunted skills. She knows the bow that doesn't bend will
break. And so Pat happily
has these three strengths, partly given, partly made.
For what she has given, she is valued by all. But for what she
has made by force of will,
she is loved.

A heartfelt Thank You, Mike in Devon, for your commitment to the many turnings and twistings necessary to level out the wording of this
tribute to Patricia Foldig. I was both greatly surprised and delighted you considered the task worth tackling.
May I take this opportunity to comment on my occasional posting photographs of my own artworks? People make buildings and autos and all manner of things we then photograph as worthy subjects. Mother Nature makes landscapes and their inhabitants who, again, are considered "picture-worthy". And so on...
Why then are works of art not whole-heartedly recognized by some as "picture-worthy"?
Mike, your linear restoration of this tribute to Patricia Foldig, to me, is a resounding affirmation of the contrary opinion.
