Nice work. I should prefer more(a little bit) saturation and contrast so to enhace visual impact. Good compo and capture based on research of lines, shapes, colours.

I would disagree. Current "medium" contrast keeps the nice warmth of the backlit sun, which is behind the big part of the success of the image.

Thanks for the comments. I did take several exposures and some were more saturated than this, however I remember how silly Velvia was with orange/blue and didn't want to go back there.

I'd have preffered it if the shadow of the hook had a bit of shape to it, but didn't have the option of returning.

A good capture and the power of the object makes you think you can see the shape of the hook in the shadow.
