Has a very sad feel. That breaking down wooden foreground looking out to stronger structures. Has the fence an element of 'Wishful thinking'. He wanted to be maybe the beams in one of the attics, or part of the framework holding up interior walls and lived a little longer being protected from the elements. But then it wouldn't have freedom and be as close to nature and fresh air would it? Man...I need to get out more !!
