I like this - lovely and sharp with nice complimentary colours. I also like the central composition and the fact the insect is within the context of its surroundings.

Yes Ken I had read that - but my understanding is that they have become so widespread that officialdom is no longer interested!

These invasive ladybirds are a good thing AND a bad thing. The good thing is they eat most of the "nasties" in the garden. The bad thing is they also eat our native ladybirds. Our native ladybirds have 7 spots. these ones can have different numbers of spots and be different colours.
