Just an experiment on B&W with high contrast and natural light, no edit was done... I hope the highlight is fine with you Andrew, I took this before the plank shot... I'll be more careful next time...

Quite a graphic approach- it's the kind of image we would have gone on to screen print on a fairly large scale in my old art room. A good choice of subject matter to exploit your intent. The vertical of the window frame suggests it's not level but the liquid in the glass suggests otherwise.....certainly adds interest! Cheers, Gary

I do have an urge to reach out and polish the glass a bit - but that's just the OCD talking .
