Ground Zero

by AxelLuther

actually I started to play around a bit more with B&W and it is amazing to see the difference n B&W and colored version. For me this one looks like a scene from the early 60ties when they did all these crazy tests near Los Alamos - don't ask me why - but I have this association....

I love this Axel: wonderfully bleak! There are lots of sites like this in the British Isles.
Best wishes,

Andrew

I agree - it has that real atmosphere (shame it's not an airstream caravan). Nice shot.

Yes, and Pontins. As well as numerous unnamed sites on our coasts...
Best wishes,

Hi Andrew - I don't know these places so I can't really compare but this one might have had a slightly different setting - I took this photo in the Carmarque when driving on this dirt track about an hour to get to a beach where outsiders raised a wild camp to spend the days with kite surfing or with finding another level of level of consciousness - this old caravan someone decided to dump there, half way to the beach. It was about 40° hot when I took the picture and no shadow available. But the places you mention I definately have to visit one day - they sound very interesting
