This was down by the river, the b/g is shallow water flowing over the gravel bed. It's quite shady there, under trees.
I've been using RAW+ of late & am beginning to get to grips with the processing in Elements 11 (RAW), & am quite pleased with this & those in the Your Photos Forum.
The K5 was set on TAV, 1/1000 & f8, in an attempt to freeze the action of the( v.busy!) bird & maximise dof to assist focus.
I think I should have reined back from 500, however!
This is about 75% of the original.
