Greenfly on stem

Greenfly on stem

by paullucas

This little guy was on the same Honeysuckle bush as the Lacewing. He just happened to land next to where I had my tripod set up.
Natural light, slightly cropped.

Paul, this is a cracking image. How far were you from the subject? And what lens are you using.

If its a macro then I think you should have been able to get a sharper focus, the eye doesn't seem to be spot on sharp clear.

This was taken with my Sigma 105mm EX Macro.
I had just done some gardening and decided to take some shots. I was taking pics of the hoverfly and lacewing, then this little guy lands not far from the lacewing.

The eye is a tiny bit off I know but maybe that's because I have cropped in a bit.
