Another superb shot Ed, I like this one just as much as your other shot with it showing a bit more of the environment it lives in, Are you in any kind of a hide when you take these shots or just mobile.

I am not in a hide. This wetland has a boardwalk going though it, the Heron was in the corner formed where the boardwalk crosses an island. The bird was concentrating on capturing food and ignoring me.Are you in any kind of a hide when you take these shots or just mobile.

Thank you for the info Ed, over here it is quite difficult to get close to Herons and Egrets etc unless you are very lucky. Thank you for sharing your wonderful photos with us, your portfolio is absolutely superb.
