Great War : German Cemetery

by Peter Elgar

To be fair I show a photo taken in the German Cemetery we visited in Belgium for the 100th Anniversary of WWI 1914-2014 -- it is much more 'sombre' with dark trees unlike the British/Commonwealth ones. 1996 MZ-5+ 35-80mm f4-5.6 SMC Pentax-F, outdated 2009 Kodak Colorplus 200 film rated 125 ASA ( the second cassette I used, first was last of my 2007 stock)

Haunting. The inclusion of the 2 people top left adds some humanity to any war dead cemetery. tg

Thanks -- I though about excluding the people but decided it gave 'scale' .
