Going home

This honey bee has stuffed its leg pollen sacs and is doubtless fully laden with nectar. Its various undercarriages are all tucked in and its head and abdomen are closed tight to its thorax to increase its streamlining as it heads back to the hive to unload.

Really enjoying your Bee themed images, thanks!

This year in rural Devon there is distinct lack of bees and birds, plants that used to be a buzz with bees are oddly quiet, and where have all the House Martins gone? And so on, worrying.

Now that is amazing. Even captured at 1/4000 sec its wings are still a blur
