Glaucous Gull

When I saw this bird I knew it was a Sea Gull but did not recognize the brand (species). It was more then twice as big as the other Gulls in the area. Looking up information on line it is said to be seen mostly in the Arctic but winters as far south as Virginia. his one decided on a Florida Vacation.

Can't say I blame him! Not the most exciting plumage!
