Shame the shot is spoilt by the model's body art and her piercings.

It's probably just me but I don't think this is one of your better images. the elbow sticking out dominates and the off centre nose ring looks like her septum is in the wrong place.

Now thats more constructive. Cheers Stan I will take it on board but I do like promonant arms (or other items) to give physical depth not just the use of light and shade on the face.

I like this - I can't really say why or offer any constructive improvement ideas but still I like it

Sorry, but I have to agree with the troll comment! For a woman who clearly has natural assets to show off why would she want to adorn herself in such a way? Tats and ironwork have never been a substitute for a natural charm and character and, I believe, the latter photographs more pleasingly than the former. A psychologist might ask why we should respect her when she doesn't respect herself! That's being a bit extreme however! Purely personal opinions you understand.

i am with john and shaun what your saying is then that you cant photograph fat women small, tall, women with tattoos??? But it is allowed to take photos of nude women and only women that have no personality as thats what its come down to absolutely ridiculous , its called BODY ART for a reason

my Purely personal opinions you understand.

Well that got a few pulses racing.....

"Re" is not a model she is a friend I have wanted to photograph for ages.......... Guess why ?????? Because she is a rare beauty in both the physical and of the soul, who in my opinion can carry the body art well.

And although I respect personal opinions a photograph should never be viewed in a totally subjective manner.

Another shoot I have planned with Re is to do a homage(?) to the Mona Lisa..... with metalwork, tattoos and bondage straps.... and another project I have for 2013 is "Living Ink" where tattoos come to life. So for those offended look away now.
