Thanks, Jim.

Actually, I can't believe how much detail is lost on this shot here compared to the one on Flickr. I'm almost inclined to remove it!

We all have to live with it Neil; I always think the same when I upload a macro shot. You are very fortunate with the weather; as you probably know we have had 2 days of non-stop snow here and sub-zero temperatures.

Nice colours and details in this shot, would it benefit from a tighter crop though?

Well, I'll leave this one, but I'll not bother uploading macros any more. I'll see how they look on the forum instead.

I tried a few crops, like you do, but this one is my preferred one, and I didn't really want to crop any more without losing detail!

I have the same problem with my macros DS.
Sometimes I upload then have to delete them and do something to them and then try uploading again. I only get two goes at doing that though so a lot don't get posted on here.

Isn't it lovely bright blue skies and sunshine - bliss.
I think the UK had the snow we usually get this year.

Maybe I'll try again and be careful about what they look like and do what you do, Charlotte. It's a pain in the bum, though.

You'll see the shot on Flickr is much better.

Out for a bike ride this afto in shorts for the first time this year!
