I salute you guys who work wonders with the HDR I think I went overboard with this attempt

I have tried very much the same David, lovely reflections in the water,it makes the buildings on the right look HDR, I like it might put my attempt on now I've seen yours. Cheers Trixie

Good effort with lots of cracking detail. Might be tempted to darken the midtones to give the colour a bit more depth and possibly turn down the blues a bit.

At last - it's about time you started playing David. Only fitting that your first attempt is your old favorite subject

It is a little bright - I would take the blacks down a bit

Is it just my eyes or is the building on the left a little bit oof?

Thanks David to be honest to learn all the PS is too much for me !! and I only have the PS Elements 6 but Im thinking on it

It needs a little rotation to the right but it certainly portrays one of the effects of HDR.

Nice shot, David. I like that the shot hasn't been overcooked, but it hasn't enough contrast IMHO. Maybe David (davidhu) is right about the playing with mid-tones.
I think this is a nice result for first attempt.
