First attempt at HDR
by rosstownsley
This is my first attempt at HDR I am trying to keep it reaonably realistic looking (I'm not looking to start a debate on HDR!).
Any comments would be most welcome.
Bizarrely the colours seem to have come out a bit different on the website and it looks a bit dull.
Thanks
Ross

I like dull! A lot of photos, particularly HDR, are too high contrast and high saturation for my taste.
As alfpics says, one reason why the colours appear a bit different on the site could be that you didn't HDR in sRGB colour space. There's no colour profile attached to your uploaded file so it will default to sRGB. Uploading anything other than sRGB is a bit of a minefield!
Another reason could be that your PC is using a monitor profile but you are not viewing using a colour managed browser. Internet Explorer does not support monitor profiles which means my uploads look very different when viewed with IE on my wide gamut monitor. For viewing photos on the web I now use Firefox, with the colour management enabled, and my uploads look right.
