From this mornings walk.
Dipper working hard to feed 2 hungry chicks

Quite a severe crop and not the best lighting (Dippers do seem to hang about in the shadows or near bright highlights in the water!) ISO was 8000 so a little bit of Denoise required via LR.

Thank you. This year is the first year I have managed to photograph them - just need to get some decent shots of Puffins now

You are quite right - the perishers do hang out in the most badly lit places. Getting this image is marvelous, whatever the difficulties.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
