Fallow Buck

Photo Information
Taken at Weald Park, Brentwood, Essex, in January 2003. One of the captive deer who are generally very friendly.

Fuji Provia 400, in a, ahem, Chinon CP-7m, with Tokina 80-200mm f/2.8.

One of the best photography days I've ever had.

A very nice image. Lots of space on the left hand side for my icon clutter. Definitely a seasonal backdrop which I think is a great idea as it implies that it will have to be changed for a different one in the spring and therefore injects variety and then this image possibly becomes something to look forward to for the next winter.

I think I would have to put my most used icons in a block on the line-of-site of the Buck.

I wonder if having a mainly white background might be a bit harsh but then again most of my document writing is done against a white background. One of the things I like to get from a backdrop is a hint of it peeking around the sides of your open windows or panels at the edges of the display and I donít think this one will achieve this although it does work on the right hand side.
