5-shot vertical stitch. Can anyone suggest a good auto-align program? Photoshop CS5 hasn't worked very well here.

A super image of a great example of 1930s Egyptian cinema style, the facade looks basically sound so it would be nice to see it imaginatively restored. Zooming in I see what you mean about the stitching, do you think it's because of the wide focal length? It might be worth a free trial of one or two specialist programs, I got good results from ptgui: www.ptgui.com and lost less margin after cropping than a cheaper programme but it was a less demanding scene.

How sad to see such an elegant building deteriorating! Nice study!

The other thing that often doesn't help with these buildings is that their location has often become either run down or unfashionable.
This is a super example and, stitching or no, it is well presented. Thank you for sharing it.

A fascinating building. These exotic picture palaces are important monuments to a by-gone age but I imagine their interior design makes them hard to adapt to new uses.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Lovely shot, would look nice in mono too I bet. PS is all I use for stitching, although it is not always successful
