No I couldn't get to Biggin Hill last year, this was taken at the Duxford Spring Airshow 2008.

I've pictures of the same Sabre from BigginH, so first thought was... and I haven't been to Duxford last year.
What lens was it? (is it this same as your pic of Vulcan earlier?)

I used a K10D and a Sigma 135-400 which I no longer have and this was shot at 400mm, F6.7 and 1/500. I am looking at the 120-400 at the mo as that has HSM and is an improvement on the 135-400.
For the Vulcan I used a Sigma 70-300 APO DG.
