European Bee-Eater

OK this photo is not that great, I just can't get close and it's cropped about 60% and tweaked a bit, it's a family that comes here every year so what is it? I think it is a Kingfisher but the wife says it's not.

Well thank you very much lads, there was about 20 of them the other day sitting on my electric cable but soon as I move their off, anyway I'll try to get a good shot one day and you know the wife was right oh well!!

I think this photo is still good, not bad at all, as you were lucky the sky was clear and the bird stands out. Its colourful thats another reason why it still looks pretty good :0.
Lucky on all fronts. And the last thing is its a bird in flight. And that alone makes it a pretty great capture Jack
