In the Longtimber Woods, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.

Thanks very much Ian for your encouraging comments I often look at these river studies and imagine the sounds.

I have started working on a book about the whitewater rivers of the southwest of England, so by the end of it I shall probably be convinced I can hear the sound of the rapids just by looking at photo of such a section of moving water
