Really good.

Interested in the settings you used...would never have thought of going as slow as 1/5th.

I'll remember for next time assuming I live long enough!

The technicalities have been worthily praised above but there isn't much mention of the eeriness, frightfulness, other-worldliness and so on which this image so amply captures. No wonder such events terrified our ancestors. Super image - on all fronts!
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

I'm really pleased that this one was chosen as it 'shines' (or maybe it doesn't!) in so many ways -technical, aesthetic, emotional, composition and more. Great use of a very rare resource!
