I don't understand title. Emergance or emergence? Emergance what does it mean?
About picture: I see a tower(?)...am I right?.....
ICM is an interesting tool but extreme works are difficult to read.
Look of this picture is very impressionist. I like colors and their shapes but it is not possible to read and understand the subject.
Hope not to offend you

Guilio - No offence taken and thanks for pointing out my spelling mistake! Title now corrected to "Emergence" (which is what I intended it to be.)

The 'tower' is made of two elements, a very old & rotten wooden jetty and beyond it an old sailing dingy (with sail) which have combined together. I didn't intend that they would come together to form anything, that was just a 'happy coincidence' that sometimes happens with ICM. Although a single exposure (3 Secs.), there are three 'separate' ICM elements - the top of the picture has a broadly horizontal movement, the middle more of a vertical movement and at the bottom a bit of a horizontal pan combined with a rotational movement.

Thank you Phil for your explanation. Sometimes in front of ICM picture I suppose that photographers using that "tool"are "ghostbusters" Happy and strange coincidences occur (to me)even working out of ICM mode....
About "emergance" I went into panic reading it. I took my dictionary, I wrote this word on Google....it doesn't exhist! A situation of Emergence
Best regards to Mrs Jean from my wife too.

I spent some time on Friday in an art gallery looking at paintings influenced by the Sussex countryside and I couldn't match a lot of what I saw with the title and claimed subject matter! However it got me think that maybe I should try a bit of abstract photography (again) with more ICM etc. I like what you have done here!
