Early Gothic

by AxelLuther

Church buildings are always kind of fascinating, as they provide such a wide range of spectacular architecture and art views. Sometimes a bit tricky to get good pictures without too much perspective distortion (as you cannot always mount the tripod in ideal positions )
This church was nice to shoot - almost noone in and free spaces at the right spots

I like that, lightning is fine and perspective distortion is quite natural. Have you made any perspective correction?

Hi Jukka - yes I did lots of corrections as I was shooting with 18 mm - was not totally possible to get straight columns without loosing too much of the hight - so this is a compromise. In addition - the left side was not ideal from the lightning - so I distorted everything until I got a perfect vertical middle axis and then reflected the right side - the church was completely symmetrical so it is not really that I changed the original (except, that it is unlikely to have to indentical flower arrangements )
