Well captured! How did you get so you could look into the nest? Climb a nearby tree?

I watched eagles on a nest when I was in Oregon, but never got a really good photo of them and their babes. We were at the side of the road with a few others and while the nest was on a tree in the valley it was still too high up and too far away to get decent photos, even with the Bigma. I loved watching them though. It was a chance encounter and we stayed for a couple of hours!

In order to get above the nest I had to hike up a steep rocky ridge to get these shots. If you wish to see more eagle pics check out my facebook page.I plan on going back all summer to get pics of the eagle growing up.
