Great shot David. You have caught the detail around the eye beautifully.
We seem to have Dunnocks in greater numbers this year, the local Robins do not seem to be very impressed with the extra competition under the feeders!

Beautiful capture. As mentioned, their eyes have very distinct detail which you have caught well.
As to competitiveness, we had one a year or so back that discovered a rival in the glass of the garage window. It would stand on the window sill and attack it ferociously. It sounded like a miniature machine gun as it pecked and stabbed at its own reflection.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Used to see them on a daily basis in our garden but it's a special treat to see them these days. Same goes for the green finch.
