Dreaming

I took this picture while travelling through the outback of cambodia. Off some beaten track lay a type of roadhouse swarmed with beggers and orphans. There though, amongst the poverty, plugged into the wall was a coca cola machine (of course) and 2 street kids looking up at this machine waiting for someone to give them a dollar so they could enjoy a bit of western life. I found this to be very sad and disturbing. I had to capture it. Pentax k10. Fa 35mm lens at F2.8.
