Yes, good effect: you were lucky to get the light on the far distance as it draws the eye through the composition.

Nice shot, great depth, and tones in the middle, Maybe a little too much rock and needs rotating anticlockwise a tadge.

actually...keep the rock.
no...third thoughts, crop the bottom slightly higher, little triangle of rock to balance the dark area on the left - try it with your window.
