I agree with Jeanette, it's brilliant, this looks like the Widow Skimmer (Libullela luctuosa) correct me if I'm wrong!!!

You are correct Jacko ... it is indeed a Widow Skimmer ... a very common dragon in my neck of the woods.

It is the season for butterflies and all insects on the wing and we have many pictures that are exceptional, considering the difficulty in catching these, but for me, this the top of the pile shot. Not seen in my neck of the woods, sadly
