Dead Pan

A shot taken in the much photographed region of Sossusvlei, Namibia. Still an amazing place to visit and get some photographs. Our guide told us that these are actually Calcium pans unlike the pan in Etosha which is a salt pan. I did not try licking it to find out if it was salty or not.
