Your B&W's almost always have a unique greyscale instantly recognized as yours, no matter the subject matter. Question: do you shoot in B&W, then massage the scale in PP?

Thanks for all the encouraging remarks.
I have never though hat a photo should just passively offer what the photographer saw.
Photography is an art form that can "use" the camera eye's reality for some objective or subjective effect — meaningful or gratuitous.— and enhance, warp, intensify it, make it more "interesting".
Grayscale eliminates the noisy superfluity of colour and gives the essential — like a richer hand sketch.
Colour drowns essentials which is why technical or scientific books rarely offer colour photograps.
All the really serious photographers avoid colour and stick to grayscale.
But that does in no way condemn colour.
Sometimes it is "better".
There is place in the world for everything.

Regarding my choice, I always shoot on colour in order to store all possibilities.
Its easier to go back from colour to gray that try to go back to colour which was never there;
And a nice big Apple screen is a very satisfactory joy to dabble on.
The photo's subject itself is a question of luck and many a spoilt or uninteresting or banal photo has redeemed itself by become gray.
I am no specialist and am writing off the cuff. O`thers have sais all this more eloquently.
Have good day, and THANKS again.
